Puneri Paltan Outshines U Mumba in Both Halves
The Paltan dominated proceedings from the start establishing a strong lead in the first half. Their star raider, Mohit Goyat was in top form scoring 12 points with a 52.38% strike rate. Importantly, the Paltan inflicted two all-outs on U Mumba in the first half setting the tone for the rest of the match.
U Mumba tried to stage a comeback in the second half with Guman Singh and Pranay Rane leading the charge. However, the Paltan’s defense anchored by Abinesh Nadarajan and Sanket Sawant held firm. Pankaj Mohite also played a crucial role for the Paltan contributing six points in the second half.

The Paltan came out strong in the first half establishing a comfortable lead of 21-13. Mohit Goyat led the charge with 12 points while Pankaj Mohite added 6 points with his successful raids. The Puneri Paltan defense was also solid restricting U Mumba to just 10 raid points in the first half.
U Mumba Fail to Recover:
Despite a spirited attempt in the second half U Mumba couldn’t overcome the deficit. Although Guman Singh impressed with 4 points the lack of support from his teammates proved costly. Puneri Paltan continued to capitalize on their opportunities with Aslam Inamdar and Mohammadreza Chiyaneh contributing crucial points in the final minutes.
