DOME by NSCI, Mumbai: The Haryana Steelers pulled off a stunning upset victory against the Bengal Warriors winning 41-35 in a thrilling Match 61 of the Pro Kabaddi League. The match was a tense back-and-forth battle but the Steelers’ relentless raiding and solid defense proved too much for the Warriors to overcome.

Bengal Warriors Start Strong

The Bengal Warriors began brightly, with Maninder Singh and Shrikant Jadhav leading the charge in the first half. Both raiders were successful collecting 8 and 10 points respectively. The Warriors defense also performed well earning 5 tackle points to keep the Steelers at bay. The score at halftime was a close 17-13 with both teams still in contention for the win.

Steelers Surge Ahead

The second half saw a remarkable turnaround as the Haryana Steelers seized control of the match. Their star raider Chandran Ranjit was unstoppable scoring a game-high 7 points with his daring raids. The Steelers defense anchored by Mohit Nandal and Jaideep Dahiya also tightened up making it difficult for the Warriors to score.

Despite valiant efforts from substitute raider Vishwas S and defender Vaibhav Garje, the Bengal Warriors couldn’t overcome the Steelers’ momentum. The Steelers inflicted two crucial all-outs on the Warriors in the second half widening the gap and ensuring their victory.
