Wolvaardt made her ODI debut against England in 2016 and became the youngest South African male or female to reach a century. She scored a match-winning knock of 105 against Ireland in the same match.

She was a member of the 2018 Women’s World T20 squad of South Africa and the 2020 edition. Wolvaardt has played 76 ODIs, 54 T20Is, and one Test match in which She has scored 2,954 runs in ODIs, 1,208 in T20Is, and 32 in Tests. Wolvaardt competed in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). She was the Strikers’ first selection in the inaugural WBBL Draft.
