Nitish Rana is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a left-handed batsman and an off-spin bowler. Rana was born in Delhi, India on December 27, 1993. He made his first-class debut for Delhi in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy season. Rana was named vice-captain of the Delhi cricket team in 2017 and was appointed captain in 2018. He made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians in 2015 and was traded to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018. Rana made his international debut for India in an ODI match against Sri Lanka in July 2021.
