Renuka started playing cricket at a young age and joined the residential program of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association for females in 2009. She took the most wickets in domestic one-day cricket with 23 wickets. Renuka made her Twenty20 International debut against Australia in Canberra in 2021. She made her ODI debut against New Zealand in February 2022.
